China’s aluminium industry outlook for the next 5 years

Written by Paul Adkins

AZ China is pleased to announce the publication of its latest 5 year outlook for the Chinese aluminium industry.

China is the world’s largest producer of the light metal, but also the world’s largest consumer. Yet China does not have all the raw materials it needs to produce so much aluminium. Aluminium companies around the world find themselves competing with the Chinese for bauxite, alumina, even coal for the electricity needed in the aluminium smelting process.

AZ China predicts that domestic demand in China will continue to exhibit robust growth, and that within the horizon examined in this report demand will eventually balance out with supply. This is not a commonly-held view inside the industry.

The 5-Year Outlook for China’s Aluminium Industry is the most comprehensive work available on the subject. For pricing information and detailed table of contents, email enquiries@az-china.com.

AZ China has just released a major Strategic Study of the Aluminium Fluoride Industry, on behalf of Metal Bulletin Research.

This study covers the outlook for worldwide consumption of Aluminum Fluoride (ALF3) as well as future Chinese ALF3 export trends and aluminium production. Our research examines how Fluorspar will play a major role in the future and what possible investment opportunities there are for companies to enter into the fluorspar industry or invest in an ALF3 plant.
