The October edition of the Black China Report went out this afternoon.
If you are a subscriber, you should have received an email from Jane Zhang - check your SPAM folder just in case. We sent it out as a direct PDF this month, because the normal app that we use is still being rebuilt.
This month’s theme could be encapsulated in one word - “rudderless”. China’s macro economic conditions continue to exhibit softness. As a result, demand for aluminium has slipped, though this is no great surprise. China’s aluminium industry still has not adjusted to the softer demand, however, and although we have seen some closures, there is still plenty of new capacity coming.
As a result, the carbon and related raw materials markets are lacking direction. The new air pollution law has also slowed the market, as players pause to assess what will happen and how the law will affect them.
The Black China Report brings you all this information and much more. If you are not a subscriber, you can see a sample of the Black China Report on our website, in the products section. Or email me and I will give you more information.
